Cadets from Voronezh and Congo are the Best Speakers of the Competition "Ciceronium 2015"

At the youth forum of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, cadets and students representing four parts of the world demonstrated their oratorical skills.

In Minsk on May 21-22 the XV International competition of oratory skills among students "Ciceronium" took place. The youth forum was attended by students and cadets from 21 universities from 10 countries (14 cities), representing Europe, Asia, America, Africa. And this is 55 contestants, who became winners in regional, city and university selection rounds.

In addition to young cicerones from Belarus (Minsk, Gomel, Grodno, Brest, Mogilev, Baranovichi), Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Pskov, Voronezh, Kaliningrad), representatives from China, Venezuela, Libya, Nigeria competed for the first place, Congo, Turkmenistan, Japan, South Korea, studying in Belarus. The competition was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of Youth.

On the first day contestants from Belarusian and Russian universities performed on the stage with a three-minute speech on the chosen topic, and guests from the far abroad - with stories about their countries and customs.

In the finals came out 13 strongest participants, remembered for their improvisational techniques of oratorical skill. Natalia Agafonova, cadet of the Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and Joseph Kassongo, a cadet of the Military Academy of Belarus, a guest from the Congo (Africa), were the best in the results of bright, creative competitions.

So, for the sum of points collected in three competitions, the prize places of the competition were distributed as follows:

first place:
Natalia Agafonova (Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia);

second place:
Anastasia Krugbelaya (Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia);
Angelina Nozdrin-Plotnitskaya (Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs);
Valeriya Taratynko (Academy of Management under the President of Belarus);

third place:
Andrei Mikheev (Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia);
Ilya Myachin (Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus);
Evgeny Runko (Gomel State University);
Alexander Tikhanovsky (Military Academy of Belarus);
Alexander Chestnov (Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia).

In the competition among representatives of foreign countries the following results:

first place:
Kasongo Joseph (Congo, Military Academy of Belarus);

second place:
Lisnel Alejandra Arellano Archila (Venezuela, Military Academy of Belarus);
Sanchez Matute Marcos Jose (Venezuela, Military Academy of Belarus);
Alhram Ibrahim (Libya, Belarusian State Economic University);

third place:
Bee Jingxuan (China, Belarusian State Economic University);
Tian Yiqun (China, Belarusian State University);
Jennifer Chiediogo Obasi (Nigeria, Grodno State University).

The awarding ceremony was held on the second day - the winners of the forum received cups, diplomas, medals and valuable gifts. Cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have prepared several bright concert numbers for the guests of the university. Competition "Ciceronium" became a real holiday in honor of oratory.
