As the head of the GDDCATP of the CM of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police colonel Gennady Kazakevich, noted, the problem in our country has become particularly relevant in the past few years. The statistics is disappointing, so Belarusian law enforcement agencies are interested in strengthening international cooperation in the field of countering such crimes on the Internet. It is no coincidence that the current course is devoted to the peculiarities of using a special computer program, which work with experts in the field of child protection Richard Matthews and Paul Bayer from the UK will teach.

The training course is conducted within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Strengthening the national mechanism for referring victims of human trafficking in the Republic of Belarus”, which is implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Office of the International Organization for Migration in our country.
According to the head of the MPS Representative Office, Zeynal Hajiyev, Belarus is taking timely measures to counter crimes in this area. However, despite the active work of law enforcement officers, the attackers continue to effectively use all modern technologies, finding more and more new forms and methods of conducting criminal business via the Internet. This problem remains relevant in different countries, therefore, in order to protect children, an integrated approach and continuous improvement of the work of the competent authorities is necessary.
- International Training Center for many years is a platform for training activities. Traditionally, experts from the UK take part in such courses. I hope that trainings in this area will be held in the future, - said the representative of the international organization.
- Our common goal is to protect children from violence. - The current course is designed to teach effective work on the identification of pedophiles on the Internet, - said the international expert Richard Matthews.
