The International Scientific and Practical Conference focused on criminology in the context of the development of the information society.
The Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia held an international scientific and practical conference on May 17-19 - the 59th annual forensic reading "Criminalistics in the Information Society." Representatives of the Bureau for the Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes on the territory of the CIS member states, the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Kazakhstan Esbulatov, Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Moscow University of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia named after Kikotya, Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and other institutions of higher education. An online connection was established with representatives of the Belgorod Law University named after Putilin and a number of high schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia - Volgograd Academy, Voronezh, Oryol legal named after Lukyanov and Rostov legal institutes.
Among the participants of the international conference are the head of the faculty of investigations of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, police colonel Oleg Rozhko and head of the Department of Legal Informatics Candidate of Legal Sciences, assistant professor, lieutenant colonel of militia Ilya Mukhin.
Speaking at the plenary session on "The main tendencies of informatization of pre-trial proceedings in the Republic of Belarus", Ilya Gennadievich spoke about the creation of a unified information system in the Investigative Committee, reported on the forecasts of Belarusian criminalists regarding the adoption of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of December 21, 2017 No. 8 "On development digital economy ".
articipant of the section "Legal and Forensic Support of Prevention, Detection, Disclosure and Investigation of Crimes in the Information Society" Oleg Rozhko delivered a report "Analytical Support of Investigative Activities", in which he analyzed aspects of the creation and activities of criminal analysis units on the basis of foreign experience.
