The Department of Theory and History of State and Law Organized Scientific Readings

Scientific readings on problems of the theory of state and law were collected more than 30 cadets and students, who representing various departments of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Department of Theory and History of State and Law held the seventh cadet scientific readings on the 14th of December. Participation was welcomed by more than 30 cadets and students of the police academy. Prepared reports presented scientific circles of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, the Department of Operative-Investigative Activity and the Department of Criminal Procedure. The jury, designed to identify the best novice scientists, included representatives of the chair-organizer: deputy head of the department Alexander Murashko, professor Nikolai Gorbatok, associate professors Viktor Danilov and Sergei Shabeltsev, senior lecturer Alexander Grigoriev.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, the head of the scientific circle Alexander Grigoriev told about the traditional event:

- The cadet's scientific readings are attended by representatives of both senior and junior courses. Thanks to our forum, young people get an idea of the "adult" legal science, learn what a scientific conference is, how and for what it is conducted. It is also important that the participants deepen their knowledge and at the same time deliver reports, discuss problematic issues during the discussions. The best reports are published in the collection of articles. For beginning scientists this is the first publication of their works - an event that is meaningful and memorable.

Following the results of the readings, the winners were named. Thus, among the scientific studies on the problems of the theory of state and law, the second place was taken by the report of the second-year student of the investigative-expert faculty of Sergei Gorbachevsky ("Professional legal consciousness and peculiarities of his formation"). The deepest and most meaningful work in the context of the problems of the history of the state and law on the topic "The Role of the ATS during the Great Patriotic War" was presented by cadet 2 "A" of the course of the Police Department Dmitry Petrburtsev. A fourth-year student of the Faculty of Law, Konstantin Kazachionok, accompanied his report "Socio-legal reverse" with a particularly bright and memorable presentation and as a result was recognized as the winner in the corresponding nomination. The spectator's liking for the most interesting report on the results of the voting of the participants of the forum went to cadet 2 "B" of the course of the police department Roman Gerasimenko, who told the audience about Andrei Polotsk and his place in the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

- For the second time I participate in scientific readings. I am very glad that I was able to cope with the excitement, to avoid mistakes made a year ago. For his success in research and development is very grateful to his scientific adviser - the senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Sergei Lapanovich, who, incidentally, is the ideological inspirer and organizer of the first cadets scientific readings.
