On April 13, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted the final competitions of the 13th Republican Law Olympiad "Femida".
23 teams from Belarusian educational institutions fought for reaching the final for four games, in which the Academy of the MIA has been organizing career guidance for many years. In the final game met 8 (two from each semifinal). This year's Olympics is dedicated to the Belarusian militia and is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event began with the awarding of the winners of the 13th Republican creative essay essay competition "We Choose the Way", conducted by the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus among students of legal classes and cadets of interacting educational institutions dedicated to the Belarusian militia and the 60th anniversary of the University. The awards were presented by the Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major-General of the Militia Vladimir Bachila.

- This competition is dedicated to a significant date - the 60th anniversary of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 88 children participated in it. We honored the best in three categories, "said Valeriy Stramburskiy, retired colonel of militia, head of the career guidance team at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. - Both the competition "We choose the way" and "Femida" - appeared in 2006 and since then are held annually. Their main purpose is to arouse the interest of schoolchildren in the history of law enforcement bodies in Belarus, to the work of police officers. Participation in competitions helps children in the future consciously choose this profession. Many contestants then come to us for study. After the ceremony of awarding the winners of the essay competition, contests "Femida" began. Practically all the participants of the finals were represented by the regions: Secondary School No. 12 Pinsk, Secondary School No. 4 Kobrin, Secondary School No. 15 Mozyr, Secondary School No. 2 Zhlobin, Mozyr State Regional Lyceum, Secondary School No. 21 in Bobruisk and Minsk Regional Cadet School (Slutsk). The only team from the capital is the Specialized Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Young jurists will traditionally act in the form of their educational institutions. Participants were expected to participate in 7 contests, including testing knowledge and general knowledge, theatrical performances. So, the teams talked about themselves, their educational institutions and their small homeland. The captains took part in a blitz poll on history, jurisprudence, and geography. Speakers of public speeches flashed their skills. Also in the rich program of the Olympiad - testing on the subject "Social Science" (on this subject, one of the introductory tests in the form of CT for the applicants of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), writing a short story on the specified phrases on a criminal topic and an oral survey on the content of films of the Soviet and Belarusian cinematography, devoted to the militia. According to the results of all the competitions, the guys from Mozyr showed good preparation. The team "MUR" school No. 15 became the third (57.9 points), only 0.1 point ahead of its team "Polesie Rangers" Mozyr Regional Lyceum (58 points). But a confident victory in the contest was won by the Slutsk team Pro et Contra of the Minsk Regional Cadet School (64.1 points), which took the cherished statuette home.
