Academy’s Graduate – the Winner of the International Competition

The results of the competition for the best research paper of cadets and students of educational organizations of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS members have been summed up.

A graduate of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant of the Financial Militia Nikita Sokha took part in the final round of the online international competition for the best research paper of cadets and students of educational organizations of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS members, held by the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The competition was attended by cadets and students from 20 educational institutions, including representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation.

According to the results of the event, his research paper “Relevant Issues of Operational Search Activities of Operational Implementation” (scientific supervisor – Associate Professor of the Department of Detective Activity of the Faculty of Militia, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Lieutenant Colonel of Militia Vitaly Veremeenko) took the 1st place in the nomination of Crime Prevention by Criminal Investigation Units.

This event was held within the framework of the forum “Days of Youth Science” held by the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as the joint research work of the departments of operational search activities of the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. Another result of many years of interaction between the departments was the publication of the textbook “Operational Search Legislation of the Union State of Russia and Belarus: Prospects for Formation and Development” prepared within the same framework of a joint research activity, co-authored by the head of the Department of Detective Activity of the Faculty of Militia of the Academy Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Colonel of Militia Alexei Tukalo.
