Representatives of government and international organizations discussed results of joint activities

Representatives of state bodies and international organizations discussed joint work in the field of protection of victims of human trafficking at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On March 10, a meeting of the advisory council on the implementation of the international technical assistance project “Strengthening the National Referral Mechanism for Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings in the Republic of Belarus” was held at the International Training Center. The results of the past year were discussed by representatives of state bodies of Belarus, the International Organization for Migration, UNICEF, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Employees of the High Office for Drug Control and Anti-Trafficking in Persons of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs assessed the effectiveness of the implemented project activities. Specialists from public associations of our country spoke about new methods of preventive work. The meeting participants focused on the results achieved in various areas of ongoing activities and shared plans for the current year.
