The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to participate in the project of international technical assistance in the field of combating gender-based violence and domestic violence.
The meeting of the coordination council of the project has been held at the International Training Center. The meeting participants have represented the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), public security police units, including regional ones, the faculty of the police university, the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the psychological services of the department, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, social and medical centers, public associations.
On the part of the Academy, the Department of Administrative Activities of the Faculty of Militia takes an active part in the project of international technical assistance. Deputy Head of the Department, Candidate of Jurisprudence, Associate Professor Colonel of Militia Ivan Fedchuk is an UNFPA expert on the prevention of domestic violence.
A resource center of the republican level on combating domestic violence will be created in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
