A week-long advanced training course, organized with the support of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
This organization, together with the police department and the State Border Committee of Belarus, implements the educational component of the project of international technical assistance "Assistance to the Republic of Belarus in resolving issues related to the increase in the number of irregular migrants." The training course “Migration Management: Separation of Migration Flows, Protection of Refugees” over the past week hosted the International Training Center for Training, Continuing Education and Retraining of Personnel in the Field of Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by employees of citizenship and migration units from all over the republic.
The training program was prepared by representatives of the UNHCR, the department for citizenship and migration and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Traditionally, the lecturer was the developer of the training course, Alexander Fedorako, senior lecturer in the department of administrative activities of the militia at the university of militia.
