Representatives of the Academy took part in the training collection organized by the General Directorate of Personnel of the Ministry of Interior.
On the basis of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Berezinsky District Executive Committee, a training and methodological gathering was held with law enforcement officers who were empowered as part of the experiment with the powers of the district police inspectors, the district police officers and criminal investigation officers. The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Berezinsky, Voronovsky, Glussky, Malorita, Oktyabrsky (Gomel), Sharkovshchina district executive committees.
The head of the department for reforming and developing the office of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Balukhtin, in his introductory speech outlined the objectives of the experiment being conducted, and also introduced it to its intermediate results.
Representatives of practical units voiced typical flaws identified by employees of the central office of the department in the course of monitoring the activities of the units where the experiment is carried out.
For two days, the representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Industry and the Central Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the Academy staff, conducted classes with the participants of the methodological gathering. Representatives of the Department of Administrative Affairs of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Faculty of Police - Chief of Police Colonel Sergey Dobriyan, his deputy, Colonel of Police Ivan Fedchuk and Senior Lecturer, Colonel of Police Vitaly Yanchin, as well as Head of the Department of Operational-Search Activities of the Faculty of Police, Police Colonel Alexei Tukalo and Senior Lecturer of this Department Oleg Savchuk explained the peculiarities of the application of administrative and operational-search legislation, the forms of interaction between the militia of societies constant security and criminal police, as well as a number of other topical issues of law enforcement practice.
