On the basis of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, a delegation from the Beijing College of the Police of China conducted a training course on law enforcement.
On March 11-19, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a delegation from the Beijing College of Chinese Police. Guests include Secretary of the Communist Party College, Lieutenant-General Hau Yang, members of the departments of investigative work, fundamental history, teaching and research, and other specialists. Delegates conducted training sessions for representatives of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee on the basis of the militia academy.
During a working meeting with Chinese colleagues, the head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major=General of Militia Vladimir Bachila spoke in detail about the structure and activities of the academy. He listed the faculties, touched upon the characteristics of the admission of applicants and the specifics of education in the first and second stages of higher education, as well as in the adjunct and doctoral studies. He noted that the Academy was twice awarded the government award for achievements in the field of quality. He paid attention to the field of international cooperation. By the way, the militia university has concluded agreements with three educational institutions of the Middle Kingdom: the China University of Criminal Police of the Ministry of Public Security, the Shanghai Political and Law University and the Police Training School of the Public Security Department of Lianyungang. During the current meeting, the head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs handed over to the Chinese side a draft agreement on cooperation, involving cooperation with the Beijing Police College in the educational and research fields.
Traditionally, a tour of the main building of the academy took place, during which Vladimir Bachila introduced the guests to the material and technical base of the institution and innovative teaching methods based on modern information technologies. Delegates were told about the use of IT in the organization of the educational process in a multifunctional multimedia media center. Chinese colleagues also visited the operational situation headquarters, the office of the department of operational search activities and other classrooms in which students under the guidance of experienced teachers study the work of the public security police and criminal police. At the International Training Center, delegates familiarized themselves with the content of courses and trainings for representatives of the competent state bodies of Belarus and other countries with the participation of national and international experts.
