Lyceum Students and Cadets Held a Chess Tournament

Teams of the Specialized Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the militia university took part in a friendly chess match.

The departmental lyceum organized an open chess tournament for the prizes of the head of the institution and invited the team of the Academy of the Interior Ministry to take part in the competition.

For many years, employees and cadets of the militia university are fond of this sport. The team, led by Viktor Lavrenov, a senior lecturer in the Department of Legal Informatics, Lieutenant Colonel of Police, successfully performs in city and republican tournaments. The team accepted the offer to meet with the lyceum students happily: how not to get acquainted, perhaps with the future chess players of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs? Cadets of police sergeant Vladislav Pleskach and ordinary militia Nikita Lopatenko and Alexander Sukhorukov met at the game board with them, eventually winning first place. As noted by the guys, a strong chess team is being formed in the Lyceum, whose participants will certainly declare themselves at the most serious competitions.
