Educational Laboratory ''Legal Clinic'' of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The training laboratory "Legal Clinic" was established on December 12, 2008 and is a non-profit public division of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one of the subjects of legal education of the population of the Republic of Belarus.
The objectives of the training laboratory are: the acquisition of cadets practical skills in providing information and legal assistance; providing information and legal assistance to low-income segments of the population of the Republic of Belarus (students, unemployed, mothers with many children, pensioners, invalids, etc.); popularization of legal knowledge. Among the main tasks of the training laboratory are: development of cadets' professional skills in providing information and legal assistance, legal analysis of situations, preparation of legal documents; providing in-depth study of cadets of separate disciplines, as well as issues of legal ethics and professional responsibility.
Information and legal assistance is provided on a free basis by the most trained senior cadets under the guidance of qualified teachers who have practical experience in a wide range of civil, labor, family, housing, administrative, criminal, civil and criminal matters. Information and legal assistance provided by the training laboratory is of a recommendatory nature and is not an official interpretation of normative legal acts.
